Since the day from posting the above guide, many Windows 7 users have asked us an interesting question many times. How to remove the "Burn" button which is shown in Windows Explorer command bar?
Today in this tutorial, we are going to tell you very simple and easy to use tricks to remove this Burn button.
It can be done in 2 ways:
- Using Group Policy Editor
- Using Registry Editor
1. Type gpedit.msc in RUN or startmenu search box and press Enter. It'll open Group Policy Editor.1st Method: Using Group Policy Editor
2. Now go to:
User Configuration -> Administrative Templates -> Windows Components -> Windows Explorer3. In right-side pane, look for "Remove CD burning features" option.
The option would be set to Not configured. Double-click on it and set it to Enabled.
Apply the changes and it'll immediately remove "Burn" button from Windows Explorer command bar as shown in following screenshot:
4. To restore "Burn" button, set the "Remove CD burning features" option to either Not Configured or Disabled.
